Need Support for Your Bank Statement PDF?

LedgerSprout is expanding support for additional bank and credit card statement formats. If your bank is not supported yet, you can request a parser and optionally contribute an original unmodified statement PDF to help us build support.

  • Request support for your bank or card issuer
  • Original unmodified PDFs are required for parser development
  • More transaction rows help improve parser accuracy
  • No scans, screenshots, photos, or edited PDFs
  • Eligible useful samples may receive a rollout discount

Why We Need the Original PDF

LedgerSprout parsers rely on the internal structure of statement PDFs. Redacting, editing, printing, scanning, or re-saving a PDF can change or destroy the structure needed to build an accurate bank statement PDF parser or credit card statement PDF parser.

For parser contribution review, we need an original unmodified bank statement PDF downloaded directly from your bank website or credit card portal.

For parser development, LedgerSprout needs the original unmodified PDF exactly as downloaded from your bank or credit card website.

What Kind of Statement Helps Most?

Best source format

  • Original text-based PDF downloaded directly from your bank website or card website
  • A text-based bank statement PDF, not an image-only PDF
  • Full unmodified statement PDF
  • Bank or issuer name visible in the statement

Statement types we can use

  • Checking statements
  • Savings statements
  • Credit card statements
  • Representative monthly statement layouts

Why row volume matters

Statements with more transaction rows are more valuable for parser testing because they help verify dates, descriptions, deposits, withdrawals, fees, payments, and edge cases.

Only Participate If You Are Comfortable Sharing the Full Statement
Original bank and credit card statements may contain sensitive information, including your name, address, account number, balances, and transaction history. Because parser development requires the original unmodified PDF, you should only participate if you are comfortable sharing that document for parser development and testing.

How Submitted Statements Are Used

Submitted statements are used to understand statement layout and build or improve LedgerSprout parser support. They are not used for advertising, sold, or shared as public sample financial records.

Need an unsupported bank statement parser now?

Parser Contribution FAQ

Can I redact the statement first?

No. For parser development, LedgerSprout needs the original unmodified PDF exactly as downloaded from the bank or credit card website. Redacting or editing the PDF can change the structure needed to build the parser.

Why are statements with more transactions more useful?

More transaction rows help test parser accuracy across different transaction descriptions, deposits, withdrawals, payments, fees, and formatting edge cases.

Can I submit a scanned statement?

No. LedgerSprout needs original text-based PDFs. Scans, photos, screenshots, and image-only PDFs are not useful for parser development.

Does submitting a statement guarantee support for my bank?

No. Useful samples help us decide what to build next, but not every format can be supported immediately.

Will I get a discount code?

Eligible useful samples that help add or improve parser support may receive a rollout discount code or early rollout offer.

Is LedgerSprout an online converter?

No. LedgerSprout is a desktop/local application. Normal statement processing happens on your computer without uploading statement files to a cloud conversion service.

What output does LedgerSprout create?

LedgerSprout exports reviewed transactions to CSV and XLSX.

Looking for a local bank statement converter for bank statement PDF to CSV or bank statement PDF to Excel workflows? LedgerSprout converts supported statements locally with no cloud upload, then provides review-first CSV/XLSX export.
